The Reveal

ARE YOU READY FOR A COVER REVEAL??? SQUEEEE!!!!!

There are many steps in the self-publishing process, but probably the most fun part has been working with graphic designer, Lynn Mackey, to create the cover for The Broken Veil.

The first concept didn't turn out. In my mind it totally worked. In reality... not so much. So, Lynn and I decided to ditch it. When I emailed her to say, let's drop that concept and run the other way, I threw out some ideas of what might work. And the magical thing was, she already had similar concepts in mind as well. Yay!

What I hope this cover will be is something that is arresting immediately and also the kind of cover you keep looking at as you read the book and learning more about the world and the characters. I think my designer did an amazing job!
